"Graminées" as we say here are so interesting in photography. Here you've captured them as if they had been in a cloud. Smashing.

Jean, I was really lucky, foloow your advise, did some research and found out the picture is of the fruit in winter they are "fethered achenes", the flowers bloom in Jul-Sept. Who could have guessed!

I love the native species. Here, Clematis virginiana - also called Old Man's Beard. And one of my garden favorites: C. tibetana - I always think of distant landscapes when I gaze upon it!
