This post is a studio of a bouquet of flowers from a friend's garden. The Lathyrus latifolius is a perennial herbaceous from the family of fabaceae, a climber up to 6 feet tall with tendrils, that blooms from eatly summer for about two months with abundant clusters of bright pink flowers. The RHS has awarded the Lathyrus Latifolius with a Award of Garden Merit (AGM). They can give an elegant touch of color to a front fence.

I am fond of Lathyrus, whether they are cultivar or botanical, "pratensis" or as here "latifolius".
I found some really beautiful ones yesterday, in the french openfields.
A great climber, and with such a lovely fragrance !
