Clerodendron thomsoniae

This post from enclos*ure about Clerodendron thomsoniae, reminded me a collection of studio images I took  more than year ago, but I never posted any, here are some of the more abstract ones.

Very beautiful photographs. The subject has so much visual interest the way you framed the shots.
Oh, those are lovely Lula! The composition, shading, and coloring are exquisite. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful photos! It is such an unusual bloom. I can't believe I'd never seen it until I found it recently in the garden.

Wow lovely colors. Are those white parts the sepals or called bracts? I am not sure if we have that here, but we have Clerodendrum species which are very different.

Lula, I just love these photographs. You have such a talent for those macro shots that look almost like abstract art. These are gorgeous! -Jean

Thank you Jean, I really love macro photos, being so close is a way to capture the essence of the flower.
