GBBD Mediterranean style - Lantana camara

Greeting s from the new garden and home.
This would be my first GBBD post and I am please to introduce you to my garden, with what one of the plants starting to bloom this week, the lantana camara, commonly known as "Spanish flag" or "West Indian lantana", in the verbena family and native to American tropics.

There are other plants in bloom now, but I need to spend some more days observing my new garden in the Mediterranean and taking images of every corner of what I have inherited.  I will have to spend some time designing my garden, but that will take me some time, and for now I am going to enjoy what nature is offering me.

Lula, congratulations on the new house and garden! What an exciting time for you. I look forward to hearing and seeing more. Does this mean you have completely left Brussels now? I am there next month and had hoped we might finally meet!

The lantana is lovely in your garden - although I was in Nepal last month, where it is a pernicious invasive...
Lula, Welcome to your new garden. I look forward to many fine photos of it. Carolyn

I must try some Lantana this year. I haven't grown them for a while and they are rather chirpy and fun.
